We believe that belonging to a community where all members are free to express their truest selves is one of life’s greatest gifts. At the Crossing, we are committed to building and maintaining an inclusive community, where all people are welcomed and accepted and differences are celebrated. While everything that happens at the Crossing happens “in community” – from Vespers to service projects to Quest trips – some activities are offered for than “nothing more” than to encourage friendships and relationships to blossom. These get-togethers range from cheering on the Badgers on game days to having scavenger hunts at the Farmer’s Market. There are always new social events being organized by our staff and students, so we encourage you to check our calendar often, or become a fan of our Facebook page to get the latest updates!
At the Crossing, you can begin your week with music and reflection in the midst of a welcoming, inclusive community. Our Vesper services take place every Sunday at 5:00 in the Wesley Chapel, on the building’s main floor. They are friendly, informal, and participatory, and you are more than welcome to join us, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey! As a special bonus, Vespers is always followed by a free homemade dinner.
Music at the Crossing spans a wide variety of styles, ranging from your favorite old hymns to traditional folk songs, so you’re sure to hear something that you’ll feel comfortable joining in on. And, if you have musical talents that you’d like to share with others, consider joining the Crossing’s Music Team! All students and levels of musicianship are welcome. |
