Student Leadership

The Crossing is led by an active group of committed students through our Student Leadership Team:

The Crossing is a recognized student organization on campus. We are committed to sharing our vision of God’s radical love with everyone regardless of race, gender, sexuality, or religious affiliation. Our team meets regularly to plan service, social, and outreach programs.

Meet our 2020 Student Leadership Team!

Doug Meier
Director of Outreach
I’m excited to serve on the Student Leadership Team to help other students find the most accepting religious space I have ever been a part of through helping at worship and the Freshman Focus Group.  I hope you will visit us (virtually — or at The Crossing when it is safe to do so) — and I look forward to meeting you!

Will Vraney
Director of Community Life
In my first semester on campus, I found The Crossing to be a place of solace and comfort amidst all the chaos that comes with being a college student. As the Director of Community Life on the Student Leadership Team, I seek to further strive for inclusivity while bringing outside opportunities and events for those currently involved within this ministry, along with those who are seeking to be. Outdoor ministry has had a profound impact on my spiritual journey, and it is my hope to provide others experiences to grow in theirs in their own individualistic ways.

Peyton Molling
Director of Communication
The Crossing is a place where I can learn more about who I am and who I want to be in a comfortable, supportive environment. Attending worship, bible studies, and other activities have positively impacted my life by allowing me to interact with some of the smartest, kindest, caring, and thoughtful people I have ever met. As the Director of Hospitality for the Fall 2020 semester, my goal is to create a safe space within The Crossing where students can be themselves and explore their diverse interests. I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to The Crossing in the fall — in person or virtually!
