Faith and Mental Health Small Group**
Meets Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 pm (beginning Jan. 31st). It’s so important that mental health is being talked about more these day, which is helping end the stigma associated with it. As college students you may be experiencing a wide range of mental and emotional health issues. We want to continue this positive conversation by offering a small group that will focus on mental health, our faith, and where the bible weighs in on mental health topics. This will be a space to explore how our faith and our mental health are quite connected to one another. We’ll spend time in some of the tough questions and topics that come with mental health and faith, and how they interact with one another. Led by Executive Director, Mallory. Contact her with questions.
**This is not a group therapy or counseling session. BUT, it will be a place of love and support for any and all.**
LGBTQ+ Discussion and Support Group
Meets biweekly Mondays 5:30-6:30 pm beginning Feb. 4.
Queer Students of Faith is an interactive opportunity to discuss how a person’s religious affiliation can make it difficult to accept an LGBTQ identity, explore various interpretations of religious texts, and share strategies for bringing these conversations to family and friends. At Art N’ Unwind, students are welcome to bring their own art projects or to use The Crossing’s supplies to begin a new project. For those who are not as artistically inclined, feel free to think outside the box with your projects (knitting, coloring, crafting, graphic design, etc).

There will be a free meal at each class, but donations to The Crossing toward the cost of ingredients are welcome! For Questions, please email Amanda,
Join us once a month for laughs, community, and a bit of light hearted competition! The Crossing offers an array of games, but students are always welcome to bring new games to introduce to the group. All students are welcome at this laid back evening of fun.
