The mission of THE CROSSING is to provide a Christian campus ministry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where students are free to explore, question, understand, develop and affirm their relationship to God, each other, and the world. This mission includes being a diverse and theologically open-minded ministry that offers opportunities to experience anew the love and grace of God through a commitment to living the gospel of Jesus Christ, with a particular focus on his life and teachings. Mindful of our ecumenical roots and connections, THE CROSSING seeks to nurture a supportive spiritual learning environment in which students can experience, claim and celebrate the richness inherent in many of its historical traditions.
