"I came to The Crossing as a freshman looking for a loving community. For the past 3 years, The Crossing has allowed me this opportunity by creating an open, love-based atmosphere for all who come. I really appreciate the fact that the students, the ministers, Karla and Doug, and the other staff members of the Crossing invite everyone with open arms and without questions. I am part of the worship team, which has allowed me to make new friends and have great spiritual conversations! I am also a part of The Crossing’s "Campfire Chat" team, which gives students an opportunity to take a break and "chat" with fellow students by a campfire. From Quest trips, we have learned that a campfire is a great and comfortable environment for people to really get to know each other. The Crossing is definitely a place where one can obtain community, peace, and a better understanding of who God is."
