I never imagined how much of an impact the Crossing would have in my life when I first stumbled into a Sustainability Potluck dinner. Since then, I have had many opportunities to make exciting and intriguing friends, while growing as a person, and to learn from an eclectic and caring community. As a participant of the Quest to Costa Rica, the Campfire Chats team, Quest Co-Leader to the Badlands, and Sustainability Potlucks, I have been exposed to this small piece of the Crossing's expansive diversity. I'll continue to enjoy the loving spirit and open community, which gives students from all backgrounds the chance to grow personally, and as citizens of the earth.
