I am a local guitar and piano player, choral conductor, and voice teacher, and I was drawn to The Crossing as I am excited to work with UW students. Young people's energy and creativity ignites my soul and I hope to reciprocate that passion here at The Crossing. Music is the perfect tool to open one's heart and to free one's mind, thus it is an invaluable tool in one's spiritual journey. Additionally, one who only listens to music, or one who merely records the perfect performance on CD, may never feel the power and awesomeness that it is to rehearse, to grow organically with the music and each other, and to then share that live music making with others and with God. Music, just like faith, is about that journey. So please, no matter what YOU think of what you have musically to offer, trust me, myself, The Crossing and God will not be so critical!! I just want to have fun and foster a community that harnesses every light, and builds musical and spiritual connections between energetic souls willing and wanting to share their talents powerfully with the rest of us and with God.
