"I was invited by one of my friends to attend a service at The Crossing at the beginning of my freshman year. I'm very pleased that I accepted her invitation. The Crossing has been a much larger part of my college experience than I ever would have imagined. The environment in the The Crossing is relaxed and very welcoming, which makes for a great place to worship and makes a huge university feel small. I always feel welcome when I'm there and I've found plenty of ways to get involved. For example, I joined SALT at the end of my freshman year and became the Service Co-Chair person. There are many ways to help ranging from setting up for dinner to singing with the choir. There are many activities that I have yet to experience, but I always look forward to participating in anything to do with The Crossing."
