This week a student ended an email to me with the words: "enjoy the hints of Spring". Yes there are delightful 'hints' of Spring everywhere and I hope you too are enjoying them too. They remind us of the new life which Spring brings.
The word 'Lent' means 'Spring'. This church season is meant to lead us into the Spring of the Spirit -- to the new life that Christ brings. May each of us become increasingly aware of the 'hints of Spring' not only in nature, but also within our Spirits as we journey through the season of Lent.
