Student Activities Leadership Team (SALT) – Will resume meeting in the Fall.  For more information check here.  Contact our co-presidents, Brooklyn or Andi or Hope.

Bible Study – Mondays from 5:15 -6:15 pm beginning Sept. 18  —  Led by student Intern Kelly. Journey with us as we take on a new perspective of the teachings of Jesus! Transitioning our minds back to the time period, we will consider how understanding Jesus’ culture and background can help us to better grasp the meaning of his teachings. Confronting tough questions, we will discuss some of the possible applications of Jesus’ teachings and open our hearts to its transforming truths. It makes no difference your extent of knowledge of the Bible- we are all experts in our own experiences and therefore have valuable ideas to bring to the discussion. All are welcome; feel free to participate as your schedules/ lives allow or at any point throughout the semester. We look forward to meeting you and learning from one another as we study what Jesus has to teach us!

Music Team — If you have musical talent you would like to share, contact our Music Director, Marie, to explore possibilities.

Queer Students of Faith LGBTQ+ Discussion and Support Group To be scheduled (check our calendar): A safe space to learn, share experiences, find spiritual support and grow as a queer person of faith.  Students of all faith traditions are welcome!  Contact Collin.

Game Nights  – Join us once a month for laughs, community, and a bit of light hearted competition! The Crossing offers an array of games, but students are always welcome to bring new games to introduce to the group. All students are welcome at this laid back evening of fun.  To be scheduled. Contact our Intern student Kelly.

Intramural Sand Volleyball – Are you looking for a laid back, fun group to play sports with? Join our intramural team for the fall semester! This semester we will be forming a team to play sand volleyball. Games will be held once a week with the time and day yet to be determined. One to two practices may be held throughout the semester as schedules allow, but overall the team is a small commitment. Great for individuals seeking community and exercise amongst the busyness of college life! Contact our Intern student Kelly.

Meditation Circle (to be scheduled)  — “Be still and know that I am God”  (Psalm 46:10).  Take 45 minutes to an hour out of your busy week to gather with others and be still and listen for the voice of God, resting deeply in the one who says “Come to me all who labor and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).  Newcomers as well as practiced meditators are welcome to join us.  We begin the time with 20 minutes of Centering Prayer, a contemplative practice in the tradition of monks Thomas Merton and Thomas Keating.  Following this meditative prayer, we then end with the ancient practice of Lectio Divina (Holy Reading of Scripture).  For more information, contact Campus Minister Karla

Interfaith Programming:  Students from the Crossing, Hillel, and the Muslim Student Association are planning activities for this Fall.  Watch for more information. Contact Campus Minister Karla.

Yarn Time Circles — Want to learn to knit, crochet or weave?  Want to relax with others for a bit and create with yarn?  Watch for more information on this Sunday afternoon opportunity. Contact Tiffany.
